At Chikwatex Cooling Homes, we want every customer to feel confident and satisfied with their purchase. Please read our return and refund policy carefully before placing an order.
1. Eligibility for Returns
New Air Conditioners
You may return a new AC unit if:
It is unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging
All accessories, manuals, and components are intact
The return request is made within 7 days of delivery
Fairly Used Air Conditioners
Returns are accepted if:
The unit has a major functional issue not disclosed at purchase
The issue is reported within 48 hours of delivery or installation
The product has not been tampered with or altered
2. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
Units damaged due to wrong installation, power surge, or mishandling
Products with missing parts, broken seals, or signs of tampering
Normal wear on fairly used units
Any item returned after the allowed return window
3. Refund Process
For New Units
Refunds issued within 3–7 business days after inspection
A restocking fee may apply if packaging has been opened
For Fairly Used Units
Refunds processed only after verification of a major defect
Refund may be partial depending on product condition
Refund methods:
Bank transfer
Store credit
Exchange
4. Exchanges
You may request an exchange if:
You received the wrong product
The product arrived dead on arrival (DOA)
There is a verified defect within the return window
Exchanges depend on availability.
5. Inspection & Verification
All returned items undergo:
Functional testing
Condition checking
Serial number verification
If inspection shows customer-caused damage, the return will be declined.
6. Installation & Warranty
Installation must be done by a certified technician for returns to remain valid.
Warranty (where applicable) covers manufacturer defects only.
7. How to Request a Return
To start a return:
Contact our support team via phone or WhatsApp
Provide order details, receipt, and brief issue description
Send clear photos or videos if requested
Wait for approval before sending back or scheduling pickup
Unapproved returns will not be processed.
